On the one hand I fully believe the NFL is turning a blind eye to him using HGH or something similar to accelerate his recovery because the story would sell (elite HOF QB playing in biggest market overcomes odds, the books/movies write themselves)
On the other, I also think Rodgers is an attention whore who would absolutely be acting this way even if a return was completely and utterly impossible.
I already commented this, but I firmly believe that he knows the team won’t be playoff contenders and once we reach week 13/14 he can use that as an excuse for why he’s not playing. If they aren’t contenders/going to the playoffs then it’s not worth the risk - but it was never going to happen anyway.

The returns this quickly, it would be a medical miracle. It would raise a lot of questions to why Kirk Cousins wouldn’t be back this season as well
