I upgraded to the 15 pro and then returned the phone and went back to my 14. At no point in time did I ever erase or restore my 14 so all info was intact. Today I can’t find any of my past appointments and super important events in my phone. And when I search for things- it comes up as ‘no results’. There are two other things going on. Occasionally I can look at the event (if I remember the date that it happened and find the event but can’t search it. That’s not always the case). And- when I click on calendars, all of my accounts have a red exclamation point next to them but don’t seem to have login issues and there is no alert statement for me to work out what’s going on. Help… I’m losing my mind as I need these appts as I schedule my life by them! Thank you!!

Settings > Mail > Account (select the correct account)> Calendar > then toggle OFF calendar. It asks if you want to delete the account and you accept. After about a minute, toggle it back on, and the calendar entries will start repopulating, and the search function will start working. Depending on how many calendar entries you have, it will take a while to update, but I have thousands and it updated in less than one hour. Search function works again.

Hi- wanted to thank you for the info. I have several accounts on my calendar. Are you suggesting I turn off all of them and delete them all?

Try this instead: go to settings > click on your name up at the top > click on iCloud > calendar > turn off “use on this iPhone” > click ‘keep on my iPhone’ > then toggle it back on and click ‘merge.’
