So I recently lost my iPhone 13 on the very last night of my vacation in the south. I had just bought the phone in early October. I know you have 60 days from the purchase of the phone to activate AppleCare. My question is, is it too late for me to sign up for AppleCare Theft & Loss protection? I went to a local library and set my iPhone to Lost mode from the iCloud website the day after I lost it. Any advice/help would be thoroughly appreciated

Nope. You will need the device in your possession. Either in store inspection OR they will get you to run some diagnostics/checks remotely. Can’t do that if you don’t have phone.
Unfortunately you are out of luck. You’d need to physically have the phone to add it.
