Have most of you heard of Kathleen Kennedy before this episode? I had not and am now wondering if this was common knowledge or if this is just animated tv/entertainment issue that has caught Trey and Matt’s attention?

Who is responsible for her continued employment? How might disaffected customers for her company’s products ethically and effectively cause her to be replaced with someone competent? Why is she there?

You learn her name really fast if you visit a sub where the sequel trilogy gets discussed a lot.

Or watched any of the numerous eviscerations (and not just the ugly unfounded bigoted ones) from YouTubs regarding the sequel trilogy.

I assumed everyone would know who she and Kevin Feige are considering they made most of the biggest hits last decade but maybe not. Did everyone in the 90s know who Jerry Bruckheimer was?

If someone is just a producer and that’s the only credit I ever see for them, I’m not gonna know who they are. I don’t generally care about producers unless it’s someone that’s a famous writer/director/actor producing something. I don’t assume most people care about writers like I do either. Directors and Actors are the ones who get all the fame from the movies they make

Yes, I’d say it was unavoidable if you’ve followed the Lucas films drama over the last several years

All my life! She was usually listed as a producer with Chris Columbus for Amblin. You know, Steven Spielberg movies.

She was sold to Disney as part of the Star Wars package deal. That’s the first I new of her. Then she started ruining the franchise.

I had no idea. I didn’t really know pandering was that significant an issue. But I’m out of the loop with marvel stuff.

It’s cuz they make the pandering the core priority while writing character development and creativity get sidelined. No one has a problem with diversity, they just don’t want it replacing putting in effort, which is exactly what it’s done

Honestly, it’s really not that big of an issue. There are like a small handful of instances in pop culture where it was literally “put a chick in it and make her gay” type of diversity implementations. But like the vast majority of it has been the ideal Stan/Kyle perspective of giving them a cool background and making it their own character.

This is such gas lighting right here. This has been a massive topic for 70% of the country. The only crowd who says what you just said are progressives.

Normal people are just scared to speak up that they don’t like it because they will be shamed and bullied by the progressive gestapo if they do.

Are you also out of the loop for Star Wars, Disney’s live-action remakes, and most modern TV shoes and movies?

Kathleen Kennedy’s not responsible for all of them, but the pandering isn’t limited to Disney.

Yeah, I’m definitely out of the loop on anything Star Wars or Disney. Not sure about other modern TV and movies.

I checked her IMDB page and I haven’t seen anything she directed or produced since Signs. I know the old stuff like jurasic park and ET. Since, she’s involved in projects that never appealed to me. But I’m old.

You’re head must be so far up your ass or your under the age of 20 and you just don’t know any different (which is what they wanted)

This has been going on for the last 4 years at least.

I mean South Park even changed Token’s name to Tolkien… you didn’t notice any of this?

I’ve known her name for years. She helped co-found Amblin Entertainment with Spielberg and she has been part of numerous film projects, mostly as a producer, for forty years. She produced E.T., Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, the Sixth Sense, Schindler’s List, and dozens of other films. She and her husband Frank Marshall have been a significant force in Hollywood for a LONG time.
