So you use low power mode and don’t track workouts… brother of course you got the best battery life out there but what is the point of posting this? “Look at my amazing battery life of a watch I barely use”

Im a fan of the apple watch. Have a series 7 myself. Would u recommend the ultra for someone who wears the watch regularly? I’m interested in getting it in the future

battery life alone made it worth for me, lasts 2 days easily and you can keep it topped up by just letting it charge while showering or something like that

Do you need the extra battery/dual GPS/etc, or is it just nice to have? If it’s the latter, stick with the main AW series. The AWU won’t change your life.

I run marathons, and I rock climb outdoors for hours. I also want to be in the Apple ecosystem. For these reasons, I have an AWU2.

With my use case, my previous Apple Watch would power out sometime throughout the day. If you’ve never experienced this, you don’t need the Ultra.

Unless you’re going to use the extra features provided by an ultra you might as well go for a regular watch.

My gf was like this, the moment she wakes up she would out the phone in battery mode, it pissed me off because why buy a super expensive phone to not even use it fully, so glad she got the 15 plus (or max idk, non pro) and the battery last all day with more than 50%

Low power mode and a case on the watch. Maybe just dont wear the watch at all. Then you don’t need to put a case on it and the battery will last even longer…

If I wanted to use my Apple Watch in low power mode and disable all the features I paid for I’d rather just buy a Garmin. My series 7 with AOD enabled and a 1h workout barely lasts the day (10% remaining usually). If I turn off all the features I can get 2 days battery but as I said then what’s the point?

Try disable low power mode, enable AOD do some workouts, be active and use your watch throughout the day and I’m pretty sure your ultra will be at around 50%. That’s a more realistic use case.

Respectfully, your watch is in Low Power. Which means a few of the features will be disabled. So obviously it’ll last a good while.

This is like saying a car that remained off, but had the same tank of gas for 5 years, has the most MPG of any car ever. If you don’t use the watch, why even care how long it lasts? Not like you’re far from a charger in the 2 days it would take to kill it on not low power mode
