14" is .3" wider and .4" taller. Both have the same thickness at .61". They are almost the same and yet 14" versions are better in every way possible. It’s a good move from Apple to finally abandon the old 2016 MBP design.

Do I want to give up the higher refresh screen and more capable SoC? No.

Otherwise you’d just get an Air.

Nope, the 13” Touchbar Pro was a relic from Apple’s misguided stretch.

If anything it was around a generation too long.

Agreed, the end of the touch bars unfortunate demise, but it had far outlived the Pro title, and I was expecting a rebrand around its’ model rather than the 15 inch airs introduction. Also If take the larger bezels over a notch anyway, but I know that’s subjective.

The current Air is clearly a better deal though given it’s price now.

Predictably this is down voted by most folks in this sub … This has got to be the biggest fan boy reddit community. You are not even allowed to feel disappointed without hurting mofos feelings. Now To answer OPs question… You are in the minority… If enough folks like you were buying, it wouldn’t have been discontinued

Well, I like the design a lot more (except the keyboard - wish it was all black like the 14”) with the 13” models. I own MBP 13” M2 with a Touch Bar (last TB model), which I absolutely love.

The Touch Bar either gets love, or hate. The only problem with it is the fact, that it wasn’t used to it’s biggest potential, wasted opportunity. Otherwise, it just looks great and “premium” from a design standpoint and works absolutely great.

But, if I’d have money to spend, I’d always go with the 14” models, but I still find the 13” Pros classic and better-looking.

I am really disappointed, to the point of considering switching to Windows after more than 10 years. I don’t want a computer without fan and the new pro’s remind me of 2013 MacBooks, bulky and heavy . No thanks. Windows laptops offer same specifications and amazing 4K screens at the weight of barely 1 kg, 16GB ram etc etc. if not for its OS Apple computers would be long forgotten
