if you had to choose only one for the rest of your life, what would you choose?? I am currently deciding between those two, I don’t know what’s better for me. With 2MAD, I may have a stable weight for the rest of my life, but with OMAD, I would become extremely thin. So I don’t really know, thank you!!
Eating only one meal a day might not make you any thinner. I mostly eat one meal a day, and I am a stable 5-8kg overweight. However you eat, make sure that you get the required nutrients and calories your body needs.
2, how is this a question? I’d ideally have 4, but what’cha gonna do?
yes I understand it’s not for everyone, I remember going for weeks only having 1 meal a day. It feels nice but you can lose a lot of weight very quickly and maybe it can harm you.
I’ve done this before and compensated by taking multivitamins. It’s just making sure you get all the important stuff so you’re not eating muscle away if you lose too much weight.
well I personally cut added sugar, gluten, and dairy from my diet. I know gluten has vitamins and can be good, but considering that bread has become an extremely processed food, it’s much better to leave it, but that was my choice!!
One meal a day is not good for the human body. Instead, it’s best to take in smaller amounts of food over larger time periods, thus why two/three meals is common throughout the world.
You do whichever one gives you sufficient calories and NUTRITION to survive. It already sounds like your OMAD plan doesn’t do that is you’re shedding pounds and would be “extremely thin”. That’s not good.
I usually have 3, so I’d choose 2. I can’t imagine functioning the whole day on one meal.
2, I don’t have enough stomach space for the bare minimum calories needed in a day all in one go. Must be two.
I eat one giant meal. I don’t like to exercise while full and my buddies come over to go mtbing during the day sometimes so I just eat a big meal at night. Make sure it’s balanced and you’ll do fine.
I assumed everyone’s body makes adjustments for what it needs. For me personally, I just got used to one meal a day. I got to an ideal weight and doubt I’ll lose more unless I increase my exercise. I also eat both heavy meals and lighter meals, it just depends on how hungry I am on a given day.
Two meals because sometimes I just need a boost.
I greatly prefer 1 meal a day
Have been doing 2 without really realizing it for the last year or so. It’s been steady as far as weight loss goes since for the most part it’s just calories in calories out with some exercise sprinkled in. Now, I don’t know if OMAD would make you actually thin or it’s still a question of CICO but just go with whatever feels natural to you, don’t force yourself into a single lifestyle till the end of days just because you decide something tomorrow. Life ebbs and flows, and so do your habits and the adjustments they may require. Good luck!
