So, I’ve stumbled across a ridiculous set of coincidences between Trey and the other famous Trey Parker.
South Park’s Trey Parker: Real name, Randolph Severn Parker III Born in 1969 Actor, Singer, Songwriter Involved in Broadway Had a band in the 90s and early 2000s
E.Y.C.'s Trey Parker: Real name, Donald McKay Parker III Born in 1972 Actor, Singer, Songwriter Involved in Broadway Had a band in the 90s and early 2000s
These two individuals, Born three years apart, decided they wanted to be artists, and go by the nickname “Trey” despite it having nothing to do with their third generation name.
Interesting stuff!
EYC?
A musical group that was relevant when New Kids On The Block still was.
I have no idea who the other Trey Parker is.
Also had no idea Trey’s name was Randolph. But I guess it makes sense if that’s his dad’s name too. Randy, since IIRC Stan and Kyle’s parents were named after Trey and Matt’s parents.
This is all very interesting but I was hoping this post was going to explain what the HELL the homeschool girl meant in Hooked On Monkey Phonics when she said that to Kyle.
It has stumped me.
It’s a reference to Romeo and Juliet. It’s not something the average third grader would reference unless they were homeschooled and didn’t have typical interactions with public school kids.
I think you are really stretching the definition of famous with the 2nd Trey Parker.
I’m a third and my dad called me the turd 💩
> go by the nickname “Trey” despite it having nothing to do with their third generation name.
It does. “Trey” is often a nickname for someone being “the Third.” Like the Spanish word for three, tres.
Aha. Tre Cool was the third as well. Never fuckin saw the connection
in cannibal the musical trey was credited as juan schwartz
