I’m 35 years old now but I was diagnosed with alopecia when I was 8 or 9. I was a lot bigger than most other kids at the time so I didn’t get bullied too often. But growing up was a lonely journey because alopecia wasn’t widely known back then. People thought I had cancer or something that was contagious and I lost friends over that.

I can’t tell you how appreciative I am of Dobbs as a role model for kids with alopecia. He’s so insanely gifted on the field and a force of positivity off the field. What a great guy! I hope any of our youth struggling with alopecia sees him and realizes there are no limits to what they can achieve.
