Don’t get me wrong i hate no one. It’s just a poll.
Fuck Reddit.
Also you.
They just work for all age groups and the added benefit of having major os updates for 6 years guaranteed instead of android which even the expensive models are lucky to see even more than 2 years of android updates
I had an Android in the past, they pissed me off and Windows/BB were on their way out so there are no other real options.
That and while Apple does have its annoying quirks at times they do make a quality product.
I picked “It’s a good phone” but it’s more because of accessibilty tools.
I have the iPhone 7 Plus RED Edition, but I choose to replace it with an Android due to the software warnings if some parts will be replaced. I’m a technician, understand me.
Ive been using android my whole life, about 13 years… I was huge google and android fanboy, I was very active member on xda and I rooted over 5 phones and tried out over 20 custom roms and kernels. I loved tinkering with it and I thought I will never go on iOS side… last year i got bored of android so i wanted to try iOS and I doubt im going back anytime soon… For me the best part of iOS vs android is that its so much more fluid… i dont know if thats because of optimizations or animations but iOS just works so well and I love it… i needed android to transfer some old images to my iphone and battery was empty, i charged the battery and when I turned it on it needed like 1 minute to stop lagging to become USABLE it still lagged ocasionally… iphone never did that
My Dad bought me an iPad and I bought apps. I’ve been stuck in the iOS ecosystem since. I don’t love or hate iOS. I just don’t want to lose access to apps that I’ve already paid for and having devices in the same ecosystem just makes syncing easier and cheaper.
It’s the top three for me.
You forgot to add an “apps” section. As an android user who uses an iPad for college work, I’ve been very impressed with the note taking/college focused apps devs have made. I still prefer android on my phone but I like having access to facetime/iMessage and apps like notability on my iPad. Gives me access to the best of both worlds.
I mostly use it for iMessage and iPhones get better trade in values than Pixels.
iOS + best phone in terms of build quality + best customer support + best handoff (MacBook, iMac, iPhone)
I wanted an apple watch and they go together.
iMessage/facetime. If I could have those seemlessly integrated in a Pixel, I’d sell my iPhone right now.
It’s a good phone and more convenient for me compared to Android.
Son gave me one years ago, and now I’m in.
