The team you love (or love to hate). The Dynasty: New England Patriots, a new 10-part docuseries, premieres February 16.Directed by Emmy-winning filmmaker Mat...
The most interesting stuff to me in the book was actually the pre Brady years where they go into a lot of detail about how Kraft managed to acquire the team and the fallout with Parcells. I was pretty disappointed when it got to the actual dynasty years because it kinda glossed over the years where they weren’t winning superbowls (which is the stuff I personally was more interested in) and just kinda repackaged information we already had from NFL films documentaries during the years where they did win. I wanted to hear more about 05 and 06 for example rather than 01, 14, etc.
The book also felt like it was very much from the Kraft’s PoV which I honestly didn’t mind, and surprisingly they didn’t even gloss over unsavory things like the happy ending or Trump. But it felt like the Belichick perspective on events was missing which I really wanted to hear more on. Hopefully being a little more removed from the end (I want to say the book came out before Brady even finished year one in Tampa) we will get more of his perspective.
