I have heard that there iptv services which are really private and don’t advertise openly and provide really great services. I don;t remember but i saw it here/reddit that they are available on private trackers’ forums. I am on Avistaz, bakabt, torrentleech and few others not worth mentioning. I would like to learn more about them so please let me know

!iptv_subs@lemmy.opensupply.space There might be better places to look, but you can get started here. I’ve been on King TV for about two months now and it’s pretty legit. The stream quality isn’t as good as YouTube TV or FUBO, but for $15 a month I’m not complaining.

The problem i have with public services is that there is always a risk of them getting shutdown and well leaking customer info like IP addresses. Recently read an article on torrentfreak about consumers getting fined for using IPTV services so I am a bit skeptical. Ofcourse if anyone is willing to share the tracker name i will get into it myself

Jellyfin is not best player for iptv btw. I use tivimate and love it, free version vorks fine, but it doesnt play VOD and EPG. Lifetime sub is not expensive imo (35$ for 5 devices iirc). Kodi with some addon works as well

With vpn you can use any provider. Most of them should offer 1-3 days test line for free and its easy to switch between them. Probably best to find local forum (in your native language) for contacts, but I think aliexpress works as well

I am more inclined towards opensource so there’s that. I will probably give kodi a try. Yes the one i got recommended by a guy in PM offers 3 days test for free. I will try tivimate but still a bit skeptical towards it. thanks
