I just set up my phone as new recently and I had to download over 50 apps even though I really tried my best to weed out the ones that aren’t frequently used. Back then (like 4 years ago) 20-25 apps was all I really needed. Obviously our needs change as we grow but I don’t know how and when I came to the point of needing 50+ apps downloaded on my phone at all times. Anyone else?

I was going to say that it must be you, but I just counted and I use 22 apps daily, pretty much everyday. And I have a lot more app, I still need but don’t use regularly.

This is why I make it a habit when I switch to a new phone to start fresh, aside from syncing my text and contacts, everything else is in the clouds (photos, passwords,etc.). There were so many apps on my 11pro, that I installed and forgot about, say I’ll use, but only in the beginning when it was initially installed.

Since I got the 15pro, I added back in what I needed one at a time. Is it tedious, that you don’t have it when you need it, yes, but it’s much cleaner and less clutter.

For me it’s the other way around, today I use less apps daily than a few years ago. As for the amount of apps installed it’s around 40.

I’m using less apps than ever. I’m constantly deleting apps that I haven’t touched in eons
