south park has had “mrs. garrison”, it’s had “heather swanson”, it’s had caitlyn jenner, and it had cartman go “transginger” (and that episode featured wendy becoming “wendyl”, but didnt mock her that much)

has south park ever mocked trans men??? (people born assigned female who do things like taking testosterone, wearing chest binders, or getting breast removal surgery in order to affirm their masculine gender identity).

on that note, has south park ever mocked nonbinary people?

or otherkin/therian people?

or Plural people/those suffering from dissociative identity disorder?

seems like a missed opportunity.

i dont mean to be political. i just wanna see trey & matt cover these topics!

The Heather Swanson episode was centered around a transwoman because of the issue that gets brought up regarding trans women in sports. You barely hear about trans men in the news and people don’t use them as much for scaremongering as they do transwomen.

It would be nice to see more trans characters in the show though.

People like Katlyn Jenner and Lia Thomas have got a lot of media attention and sparked controversy (controversy is often the bigger target of their humour than the actual subject). Eliot Paige was the most notable trans man in the media and there’s really not much controversy surrounding that situation. Besides, if they did a run of episodes hitting on every subcategory of trans and sexual orientation then it would really appear like they were pushing some agenda. If you’re known for making fun of everyone then you gotta spread it around and not hammer one topic all the time (unless that topic is Disney)

I imagine they will if one of these topics ever becomes a major news event.

Which is there more headlines about? South Park typically follows recent news/events.

Probably because politicians don’t debate about trans men as much, that’s why they aren’t mocked probably.

No, because no-one gives a shit about Transmen because:

    1. They are putting themselves at a disadvantage entering into any male centric sport or physical activity due to lacking the male physiology.
    2. Men do not object to pussy havers being around when their getting naked and do not feel threatened by a vadge the same way women feel threatened by a penis.
    3. Where as Women get all huffy about ‘men invading womanhood’, Men largely are amused by Transmen and feel vindicated when the girl playing at manhood has the eventual breakdown due to the isolation, ostracization, quiet suffering and constant toil of being a dude.

Nonbinary, otherkin and DID is perma-online internet nonsense that only other perma-online people are aware of and people in the real world would have no idea about, thus not have the context for it to be funny.

This is the most transphobic shit I’ve read in a while. The reason why they don’t make fun of trans men is because a woman becoming a man is seen as an upgrade (same as women wearing pants) whereas a man becoming a woman is seen as a downgrade (see men losing their shit when they see other men wearing dresses or skirts.) Also trans men don’t have breakdowns because being a man is “oh so hard,” they have breakdowns because they live in a transphobic world where the odds are stacked against them. Men are not victims because they are men they’re victims for other reasons (mental illnesses, poverty, etc.)
