I have installed the ea app through lutris, but when I click on titanfall in steam it says it is running ea app installer, a popup ea window opens and crashes immediatly
Using ProtonGE might do the trick, it seems to apply per game fixes for the ea launcher being kinda fucked

Prepare for a few headaches with anything that is running through ea craps. I had quite a few with titanfall 2. Everytime ea launcher updates, break the game and I have to delete (just rename as a backup measurement) the game prefix directory so proton would rebuild it again.
The game prefix directory (if that is how it’s called) is located in ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/
The game id is in the url of the game page in steam (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1237970/Titanfall_2). That makes it 1237970 for titanfall 2
You need to search for the fix. Done it myself once. I believe there are executables for this. EA messed up their launcher when the remade it a while back. One of the things that need fixing is getting the correct font on your device. It’s pretty fucked up.
