Leonard is hands down one of the best defenders we’ve ever had, so don’t feel silly about anything.

    • 4 x All-Pro (3 x 1st Team, 1 x 2nd Team)
    • Defensive Rookie of the Year (a season that was, IMO, one of the best LB seasons ever. Go and compare it to the year Luke Kuechly won DPotY)
    • 1 x Forced Fumbles leader
    • 1 x Tackles leader
    • 3 x Pro Bowler
    • All those games he single-handedly turned it in our favour
    • His godly post-season performance in 2018

If you wanna look at it like this, Robert Mathis “only” got 2 All-Pros. Leonard had exactly the same All-Pro nods as Freeney (3 x 1st Team, 1 x 2nd Team).

Recency bias will ruin the perception of him for a little bit, but that first four year stretch was unreal. Wear it with pride. I will be.

My perception on him is unchanged. The dude went to war for the colts and came out on top most of the time. I sincerely hope he has a long, successful career, where ever he goes (as long it’s not in the AFC South lmao).

prime Leonard is probably my all time favorite player so I’m still happy I have his jersey, and I would gladly still argue that he was the best LB in the league for those few years

Yeah coming across the aisle here - the man was a monster. I didn’t watch him enough but he felt like he was the best at his position for a couple years and I hated it. I wish you all the best of luck!
