Chris Ballard should be fired. Not sure of any draft picks he’s hit on. Pittman, Pierce, even JT to an extent have been decent at best. Middling team, we are 42-61 I believe in Ballard’s tenure with no future in sight. He tried to address this issue in the recent draft but passed up on a GENERATIONAL talent in Cj Stroud. Now we are stuck with Richardson, who looks to be a perennial 15 TD 15 INT guy with 50-60% completion percentage, if he even stays healthy. It’s just so painful being a fan, especially when Ballard misses on these draft picks so consistently. I can’t name one guy he’s drafted that’s moved the needle. To make things worse, releasing the Maniac is crazy. Heart and soul of the team and far and away best defensive player in Colts history. Just pathetic man, hopefully we get it together, without Ballard of course, and are able to right the ship by selecting a gold ticket guy like Marvin Harrison Jr. or Blake Corum from Michigan, both of whom would be an upgrade over AR or JT.

This is the truth and it scares people. We will never win another Super Bowl or even be a contender with Ballard at the helm. Hell, they won’t even give us a prime time game. Oh, and our owner is still an idiot

you can’t pass up on a player that was drafted before you pick. it’s not like the texans, a divisional rival was going to trade that 2nd pick to us either. what the hell is the point of being a fan of a team if after less than half a season you’re already ready to give up on a promising 21 year old.

Stroud was taken before Richardson so he didn’t exactly pass on stroud. JT was damn near an MVP with a 20 TD season. Ballard hasn’t been a great GM but the examples you’re giving are really dumb

It’s almost like drafting is a collaboration between GM and Head Coach, and Ballard was influenced by who his coach advocated for.

Steichen was all in on Richardson. That’s not a Ballard pick.
