    Jeff Roe, the top consultant for the super PAC, got into a heated argument with longtime DeSantis confidant Scott Wagner while a small group of nine board members and senior staff were discussing budgeting.

    “You have a stick up your a–, Scott,” Roe fumed at Wagner, who is a member of the Never Back Down board.

    DeSantis has anchored his campaign’s prospects in Iowa, but he has consistently trailed former President Donald Trump in polling and is in a battle with Haley for second place.

    Sounds like the PAC wants to get on board with Haley, and the DeSantis goon squad didn’t like that plan and got into a heated argument. Why the CEO left leaves a lot of questions, especially for who takes his place.

    Keep in mind the CEO will still be in politics, as he runs a “Political consultation advisement company.” But this could signal a pivot from ideas or strategies.
