Currently on my SE2020 and I personally think this is peak iPhone design, with the home button with Touch ID and the single handed use size. Everything about this phone is perfect, except as I’m looking to upgrade I would like usb-c for that single cable convenience. However, I was disappointed to see the rumours of the next SE adopting the notch design, meaning the old design will be lost forever. Thoughts on Apple making a usb-c version of the old design as a last hurrah for the home button?

I’m with you: I love the SE, and recently upgraded from the 2 to the 3. And it may not be absolutely definite, but from what I’ve read, the SE 3 will likely be the last iPhone with the Home button, as disappointing as that is (I much prefer TouchID to FaceID). So I wouldn’t get your hopes up.

I think the home button was great for it’s time but it has no reason to still be around and is just a waste of space since we have found ways to navigate and use our phones with gestures and make the screen edge to edge.

Hopefully it looks like a 12 or 13 with USBC, A16, and the camera of the 15 or 14, but if it’s the Camera of the 15 it might be $499, which would be a good deal.

But i doubt it. Guess we’ll wait 5-7 months.
