My brother-in-law just told me that he was happy Anthony Richardson got hurt because it “proved that he wasn’t mentally prepared for the NFL.” I about lost my mind. He and I don’t see eye to eye on a few topics, but generally get along well. I certainly didn’t have this argument on my Thanksgiving bingo card.

I saw another post a while back, someone saying they hope Travis Kelce gets hurt so the T Swift talk would stop. And I’ll say the same thing here that I said then. I don’t care if it’s my least favorite player in the world. I would never wish injury on another human being or be happy that they got injured. To do otherwise is just simply asinine.

It’s 100% true. He says lots of, umm, interesting things. He’s also a Lions fan, so there’s that.

I guess you could give him a hard time considering his team got beat at home by a mediocre Green Bay team

It is always best to find it funny how stupid this person is as opposed to allowing it to upset you.

It is a pretty dumb thing to say about anyone.

Absolutely…I got the pleasure of hearing how Covid was fake and Trump is going to fix everything in 2024 during my family dinner.

I would much rather talk football, even if the takes are crazy.

I got drunk by myself and made an awesome spread of food for me and my cat. My parents were super shitty that I didn’t come up for the holiday but I’ve been getting messages from my relatives about the arguments they were having. I think I made the right choice.

You’re tissue paper soft if that offends you as bad as you claim. Next time just say “damn that’s crazy” and move on bro.

Yeah - getting injured by playing football against motivated human Avengers totally means he’s not smart. Ok …

Although I do believe consistent injury issues can be attributed to being afraid of success, this isn’t the case and your BIL is a dumbass wanker. Absolute buffoonery

I’ve already heard from a couple different Colts fans that his injury was proof that he should have sat behind Minshew all year.

No idea how that would have prevented injury when he DID finally start, but a lot of people just use whatever happened to prove they were right in what they initially thought.

    It’s just confirmation bias.

I think missing the season may turn out to be in Anthony’s favor. He needs time and this at least gives him that.

However, equating injury with mental strength is frankly stupid.
