I’m deciding between:

  • MacBook Air 15", M2, 24 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD
  • MacBook Pro 14", M3, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD

I do the following:

  • Voiceover / narration work (Logic Pro + plugins)
  • Some photo editing (Lightroom)
  • Grad school (Pages, Numbers, Keynote)

I do 4K video editing at work but have a Mac Studio M2 Ultra for those projects. Currently leaning toward the Air but would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks in advance.

    If you mean the Base model pro, I suggest it, It has More ports and a Fan which may help a lot with heavy apps and games. I don’t get people who complains about fan noise I use to find it relaxing if it’s quiet. And MacBook one is very quiet as far as I noticed from other people’s Macs (I have an Air)

    16 go of ram will be enough

    Get a cheap Chromebook or whatever. Remote desktop into Mac Studio. Keep the $$$ in the wallet.
