That’s all, Hackett is a good man and a horrible coach that has gotten the Adam Gase treatment due to his relationship with Rodgers.

No he was just a dick and then started his tenure embarrassingly worse than the guy he trashed.

Hackett is a horrible coach. Even though every poster on r/NFL said as much, what people didn’t like was Payton directly shitting on another coach.

Everyone respects what a great job Payton did with the Saints.

I love that every dipshit on this sub who thinks they’re about to make a biting and brash remark always sounds like a drunk uncle about to get into a fight at the cookout.

I don’t know whether hackett is a good coach or not. I know that in denver he had to deal with a QB that wanted to play like brady and forced his way out of seattle for the opportunity and freedom to do so. I also know that as dysfunctional as the broncos were last year, sean payton had an even worse start. The broncos have been able to turn it around a little bit, but hackett was not afforded the leeway, and payton had the benefit of dealing with a russell wilson that was far more coachable than he was last year when he thought he could play like brady or brees.

I also know that hackett has been playing with zach wilson and boyle on an oline that is plagued with injuries.

Is head coaching maybe too big for hackett to handle? Sure that could be true… but it seems like some people are trying to shift all the blame to hackett, when wilson was god awful last year, in an offense that he had a lot of say in designing, because he thought he could be a true pocket passing qb.
