For a 13yo who hasn’t been sheltered exactly but also doesn’t need any ideas. I showed her the Holiday Songs episode from season 3. I was thinking the “Shit” episode, but what else?

I mean, most 13 year olds are ready for south Park. Your kid has almost definitely heard worse at school by this point.

I started watching before I was 10 and I turned out fine haha. That being said, a personal favorite of mine is Spookyfish. It’s pretty tame and just plain silly fun with a “horror” aspect.

Oh that one is funny. I feel like people ignore the earlier seasons. Including me, sometimes.

I wasn’t allowed to watch it at all as a kid. Idk what other parents allow but my kid can’t keep her damn mouth shut so I don’t need her to be the only kid singing “shut your fucking face uncle fucker” At a completely inappropriate time. Kid has never been able to read a room.

Sounds like a parenting issue, not a south park issue. Ive been watching since i was 8

So why not teach your 13 year old about “time and place”? They should know by that age when and where it’s appropriate to say certain things.

When you can teach a 13yo w/autism and a behavioral disorder “time and place” you’re welcome to come over. I’ve been attempting that her whole life. But in the moment she’s too desperate to seem “cool”

You mean the episode where Cartman collects loads of semen by “sucking through a hose” to grow his sea people? Or the one where they crawl inside their dead teacher?

“Suck it out of a hose” might go over her head, like it went over mine when I was young.

And I didn’t think there was anything wrong with Cartman crawling in the late Mrs Choksondik.

I was your age when I started watching. S1 and S2 are probably tamer compared to a lot of later stuff.

“With Apologies to Jesse Jackson” from S11 is the best episode of all time, IMO, and it’s not inappropriate. I would have loved it at 13, 30, etc. It’s a Randy episode about white fragility.

The Civil War one was pretty tame (outside of some grabass) and is very funny and well done.

Sorry to break it to you but 13 year olds already have all of the “ideas.”

    Every single episode is ok.

They probably have been jackin’ it every day, and have fucked every piece of furniture in their house by now.

The loosing edge is perfect for a younger person to ease into south park, easy to understand and only some fighting
