IMO, absolutely not.

Yes, yes it was. Anyone that doesn’t think so is a jackass. It’s not that absurd to think that if Peyton comes back he probably reinjures himself behind that line, and potentially in a quality of life altering way. In fact, I’d say that outcome would be more likely than him replicating what he did in Denver.

No. I hated the decision when it happened and history proved that decision to be incorrect.

Of course everyone here is going to argue otherwise.

Probably because we weren’t a qb away from the superbowl like the Broncos were. And manning wasn’t going to drag a roster that got the #1 pick without him to the superbowl even if he stayed.

It was the right time for the COLTS to move on and it was the right time for the Broncos to take a swing.

Is this sub going to just turn into every other sub on here and repost the same stuff? Regardless this even happened over 10 years ago. Let’s move on. How about l asking a more recent question? What if daddy rivers had come back for another year? Where would we be as a franchise now.

We had the opportunity to draft the best qb prospect in a long time while there were doubts about Peyton’s health and at the very least it was certain he didn’t have too much time left. Absolutely the right choice at the time

Yes it was the right choice. Anyone that thinks otherwise isn’t or wasn’t paying attention to the cap and or the roster. If Manning had stayed in Indy he wouldn’t have won a second Super Bowl.

Maybe so, maybe not. If we had kept Manning he would have gotten just as beat up as Luck. Manning was a 12 year vet when he was released (I think…check my math).

Yes. It was obviously the correct choice.

Manning being able to play again wasn’t a certainly.

    Absolutely right choice.

It was no certainty that Manning would come back after the neck fusion, and Luck was a consensus generational QB.
