I’m glad that we won despite the ref blatantly being in the Buccaneers’ favor. I’m trying to wrap my head around how that Buccaneer literally dragging the guy with the ball in his arms BY THE LEGS back behind the 1st down line that one play in either the 2nd or 3rd quarter (I forget which, I just know I turned to a different channel when I saw it not being flagged). Makes me wonder if that ref was bribed.

I didn’t really think the refs were unfair this game at all.

Especially after the game we had a few weeks ago.

Meh I think we shot ourselves in the foot more than the refs did. There were some calls that went our way too. We gotta be able to hold them on defense, so many throws they were left just wide open. We’ll be exposed by really good teams like the Bengals if we’re not careful and fix that shit quickly. Luckily we were able to out-pace the Bucs and didn’t let them come back but they were just a few plays from being able to beat us. I’m glad we won but had we lost I wouldn’t put it on the refs.

Now the Browns game? Yeah that was sketch by the refs and they admitted it.

The Bengals aren’t a good team. They don’t have a QB either. Chase, Higgins are ineffective with poor QB play. Remember Wayne, Garcon, Collie and Clark with Painter?

The refs are not bought by the other teams, they make mistakes, they are things from a different angle, they know the rules better than anyone else(generally speaking)

I taught my son at an early age that he cannot ever blame the officials for a loss, it’s his job to be so dominant that a poor call by the official does not determine the outcome of the match.

I wish more so-called adults would realize that and stop blaming the officials for a particular outcome.

This league is separated by millimeters, not feet or miles. One bad call can and does change a game. I say that not to justify placing blame on an official, but we as fans should demand better, more consistent officiating.

I’m not sure how you can say, with a straight face, officials can’t alter the outcome of a game. “They know the rules better than anyone” i mean…that doesn’t absolve them of fault. They’re human at the end of the day.

No player can be more dominant than the whistle. Especially in a team sport like football. It would be adult to teach them to play through refs messing up and not letting it affect their game.

But to say officials can’t mess up to the extent it alters the outcome is absolutely bullocks.

Is that illegal? He was trying to tackle him in a way that the colts couldn’t call a timeout before the half ended. MPJ did a great job of getting his elbows down to allow for a timeout.

I am with you. There was nothing wrong with that play. I actually think the refs gave us a fairly favorable spot in that situation if I recall. Odd to me that someone has to literally stop watching a game at that point.

The refs weren’t in the Bucs favor. We were the better team. The Bucs D isn’t good and our offense is good. Our D bent but didn’t break

I was more put out by the announcers going nuts for every Buccs play And sounding so bored with us doing anything.
