Each have had a big impact on the team and have had big plays that directly lead to a win. Who do we think was the best move from Ballard this summer?

All three have been great (Minshew was a great backup) but Matt has been elite.

Over time the answer will be Matt Gay. But for this season I went with Minshew, we would have 2-3 wins max with Sam starting. Ebukam is also a hit, lots of past DE that we sign do nothing but he’s grown into his role and makes huge plays.

Actually feel like our notable FA DL signings have generally been pretty good under Ballard. Ebukam, Houston, Autry, Buckner (not an FA but close)

Its more those second roundish draftees that have been more spotty

I went Gay because he’s been so clutch and will be with us for the foreseeable future…we wouldn’t be here without Minshew.

    It’s Gay easily

Ebukam is solid but to me he’s not the pass rusher we needed suppose for the price we weren’t getting that.

If that potential second INT hadn’t been dropped on Sunday the views on Minshew would be very different.

Gay and Ebukam are better players but the QB is the QB at the end of the day. Hes our Ryan Fitzpatrick

I’m saying Gay because we no longer have to worry about a field goal going in. I’m like 95% certain he’s hitting anything. I mean he was inches from hitting from 58 this past weekend.

Ebukam is a very close second. He is severely underrated and is a consistent bright spot on the defense.

Minshew to me is 3rd. I honestly think Shane can make any QB work. Gardner has been a turnover machine and has cost us a couple of games.
