This doesn’t tell the true story of what an idiot Wentz was with the ball. All turnovers aren’t created equal. Also Minshew isn’t a locker room cancer.

BTW, this was created using GPT4, but I think it’s accurate.

This comparison shows that Minshew had a higher completion percentage, more pass attempts, completions, and passing yards. Wentz, however, excelled in passer rating, passing touchdowns, and fewer interceptions. They were equal in terms of total sacks and average sacks per game.

    Games Played - 9 (Minshew) / 9 (Wentz) - Winner: Wentz

    Does not compute.

And while I don’t really think Minshew is very good, I’d still rather have him than Wentz. Mostly because I’ve seen the Wentz movie, and I know how the rest of his season plays out.

At first glance it’s hard to remember Wentz only having 4 int’s, but then I remembered Wentz had like a dozen easy picks dropped

He literally threw the ball left handed straight at a defender.

Statistically it should be recorded as at least 15 interceptions.

When Minshew completely shits the bed for the last two weeks with the playoffs on the line, then his Wentzing will be complete. Muahahaha!!

I guess I’m in the minority and think that Wentz wasn’t all bad for us that one year, and could’ve been better than Matt Ryan.

I agree. Played most of the year injured nobody ever mentions that. Yes the Jax game was horrible but every QB has those stinkers from time to time, quite literally every single one. Colts haven’t won down there with any QB in a long time. And then all the haters were validated.

To go from Wentz to the ghost of Matt Ryan was a joke of a downgrade and nobody will admit that.

And yeah guys I will agree Wentz isn’t a top tier QB by any means but look around the league today, there are plenty much worse.

Wentz’ reputation suffers (rightly imo) because when he actually played productively he lost almost every time. We only won when we ignored him and ran it nonstop. Nobody is going to give you much credit for playing well if they’re salty about the loss, especially when he usually paired his good performances with a back breaking mistake that caused that loss near the end (Titans game at home stands out).

All that to say that we disregard his stats because they came in games we lost, whereas in games we actually won it was usually in spite of him.

Nothing about this is surprising. Wentz basically has a career 3:1 TD ratio and is a better QB than Minshew.

Add a value of their contract factor.

I think Chase Daniel at one point made $10.6M over 51 passing completions.
