Why do you people see a name that was good like 5 years ago get released from a bad team and think “Oh, he’d be good for us!”
Desperation. They’ve seen Baker play and think, “Anybody would be better than him.” And Marcus Peters is anybody, so he must be better.
Ballard scouted him when he was with the Chiefs staff. I’m pretty sure Ballard was the guy who vouched for Peters when the Chiefs drafted him. It might mean nothing but it’s possible there’s a personal connection.
