This is my cousin. Not actually him, but same mentality. I think he and his wife are on child 6 now, with no home, and no real job. They both work in the Church, get all of their food from the donations, and bounce between Church members house’s for a few weeks at a time. I’d love to say that they’ve made horrible life choices, but their parents, my Aunt and Uncle, did (and still do) the exact same thing. Plagues, all of them. Back when I had facebook there was always a post from him asking for donations, a house, a decked out SUV for all their kids, new game consoles, etc.
“Oh Santa Jesus, grant the materialistic desires of my heart…”
Some people think that unreasonable to insane requests somehow are OK if you put Jeebus in the request.
Works for priests and ministers…
Like the one that got mad his church didn’t buy him a more expensive watch for Christmas?
Hey Jesus, I know you are busy giving 2 year olds lukemia but can you take a break and kill the people that live in this perfect house so we may squat there? I promise to fuck over the poors at the ballot box.
Love
The Charlatan’sI work my ass off and my house isn’t close to as nice as what they are asking for. Gotta up those prayer numbers.
I went to school with a person like this. It was agonizing seeing them on Facebook back in the day with these posts.
“I need a washer dryer combo because mine broke”
Then a week later saying
“I like to thank God for the washer and dryer dropped off at my driveway, praise Jesus for His gifts”
Bro that wasn’t God, that was Cletus from the repair store.
