He is almost always the villain. Villains make shows worthwhile plus he is funny and inappropriate . He has no problem reminding Kenny that he is poor or manipulating Butters. He is not my fave, but the show wouldn’t be the same without him.

Because Cartman is the embodiment of the ID Chaos given birth than given obesity in a ten year old package of evil and antisemitism sure his a horrible person But it’s hard to not love that silly little antisemitic obese racist when all his shit is meant to be laughed at and poke fun at people like him

I like that Matt and trey originally said they were Stan and Kyle and then later said they were both cartman. He’s hilarious, he’s beautiful, his voice is flawless, he throws lil tantrums and plays with toys like Clyde frog because he’s still an 8 year old boy, but he’s also a devilish genius. We can see his character change in the earlier seasons as his mom continues to be a sl*t and sleeps with random men, he becomes angrier and more vengeful and more spoiled, he’s a product of his environment

he’s the beating heart of the show. you can take any issue/idea and have cartman play with it in ways that don’t make sense for pretty much any other character in the history of television.

There’s literally no show without Cartman. Kyle and Stan are only relatable against the chaos that is Cartman. Without him, what would we even watch?

Without him the show has lost half its punchlines. I find it odd that some people get so offended by anyone liking him.

It’s 2023. People get offended by everything.

Don’t get me wrong, there have always been those who get offended by everything, but social media has led to them actually getting their complaints and whining heard by others.
It used to be that those kind of negative whiners were just left without attention.

Cartman started out just as the foul-mouthed fat kid.

As the seasons have progressed, so has his character. He’s gone from just being the foul-mouthed fat kid to a self-centered, self-righteous, narcissistic, highly manipulative megalomaniac.

He’s literally the heart of the show, and without him, there is no South Park.

He’s certainly one of the most Interesting characters and his personality helps create many good stories. So I guess he is one of my favorite characters. But I wouldn’t like him or someone like him in real life. Kyle is one of my favorites too and obviously he’s a much more likeable character.

Cartman used to be my favorite, but that was back when Scott Tenorman Must Die was the only episode I had seen. He was my favorite back then because he was so psychotic.

In all honesty, he’s the only relatable character on the show for me, and I’ve heard it from multiple people. I am constantly getting compared to him whether it’s his sense of humor, how his girlfriend changed when he got with her, or his blatant savagery. I actually don’t even see it myself but I’ve always exalted him, even have a little Grand Wizard figure of him in my living room 😅
