I’m curious - why do you pick iPhone compared to other smartphone brands? (Google Pixel, Samsung, OnePlus, etc.)
(I’m also going to be asking in other phone subs, hope this survey goes well)

Microsoft decided to kill Windows Phone.
Got bored of using Android for so many years. I still switch between iPhone and Samsung and currently I’m using the S23 Ultra, but I might switch back to iPhone because it has USB-C now.
Closest thing I could find to a windows phone which was my first phone. They’re extinct now sadly.
I just came over after 10+ years of android. All the problems Ive had with iphone have been fixed, and I find the reliability of android phones to be poor
i’ll never forget from 2010 to 2013 i had like 3 droids in a row, all eventually crashed and stopped working completely. in 2014 i bought my first iPhone, the 5. it went on for 3 years no problem. what a great phone.
I bought into Steve Jobs’ vision. I’ve had every IPhone. I have a MacBook Pro, 2 IPads and an Apple Watch. 🤷🏿♂️
I’ve used both and Apple is easier to use imo.
My gf forced me and now I cannot go out
It was free and I don’t give a fuck about these phone wars. It gets the job done and that’s all I care about.
It’s simple, never fails me, not too cluttered or complicated. Sure… Samsungs have all these crazy features and ways to change everything, but I have no desire to do that. I don’t know why people argue about this. It’s just personal preference.
Used an iPod and then iPhone. Both were intuitive. I also own other Apple devices and I really like the Mac. I have used windows and android devices - both were relatively hard to use / cluttered / buggy in my experience.
My very first smartphone was an Android. Then I got an iPod Touch as a gift. The difference in the OS was remarkable. iOS was far less clunky and confusing, and it streamlined so easily with my iMac. It made sense just to switch to iPhone. I’d never go back.
Because I also have an Apple Watch, iPad, AirPods Pro, and a MacBook Pro. I genuinely benefit to an enormous degree thanks to the ecosystem. I need IT support once every two or three years and it’s usually because I’m trying to fix some Microsoft headache.
So I started down this road back in 2009. Imo android phones really sucked in 2009. The iPhone 3GS was pretty wow. I had previously used a Treo, BlackBerry, Nokia n80, various PDAs, and te iPhone seemed the most polished. Mind you I thought the first iPhone sucked royally especially bc if the lack of real gps, no flash, AT&T asshats made Apple disable MMS because there were afraid it would break their network lol, anyways…
I was already somewhat in the Apple ecosystem with ipods. I had owned iPods for several years at this point and it was also a plus that I could just connect this new device that would have all my music and playlists as I set them up and I didn’t have to carry a separate phone or use a different music management app. I stayed with iPhone because I got more entrenched in the Apple ecosystem. Most of my social circle use iPhones which makes messaging easier, although I have friends and relatives in mh country of origin so I still use WhatsApp a lot.
Perhaps more than you wanted in an answer? 🤷
