I haven’t seen anyone give a good explanation of the injury. Broken bone? Torn ligament? No idea. Anyone have an update? Trying to estimate if the 2-3 week timeline is realistic.

…I would assume not which is why OP is asking for some insight that we may have heard from the various Colts media and insiders we all follow.

So why does he need to know the injury to know if the time out is realistic? That’s what the team and team doctors have said so why wouldn’t it be realistic?

Im not a doc but I don’t think a broken thumb/bone would require surgery, safe to rule that out.

    Probably torn something.

There is a sports radio show called “inside sports medicine” with several orthopedic surgeons on it and they answer calls and questions on Saturday mornings from like 7am-9am. Look them up on Google or other social media. That would be a good question to ask them and see what their thoughts are on what type of injury it could be.
