Let’s get this community going! I am a fan of the New York Football Giants, and I’m hoping for another fun season now that Danny got some weapons.

Ravens checking in, cautiously optimistic. How are you feeling about Danny’s contract? I don’t follow the Giants closely, but it seemed to me he was getting too much blame

Danny had a very good season last year. When people criticize him, they completely ignore his 700 yards rushing and 7 rushing touchdowns from last year.

I think the contract is fine, especially compared to what the elite QBs are getting. Plus as the cap increases, the contract will look better and better every year.

Last season he had no talent to work with really and carried the team to victories. In my opinion, he’s the main reason we made the playoffs last year. I’m expecting him to have his best season ever, with another year in Daboll’s system, more weapons like Waller, Hyatt, and Campbell, Shepard and Wan’Dale healthy, and a better offensive line.

Commanders fan, never thought I would see the day Snyder sold. I honestly thought this team would stay in his family for generations.

I’ve grown up near DC during basically the entire Snyder era. This place from one of the most rabid fanbases around to the point nobody even wanted to really associate with it haha. Its been a depressing time with him at the helm, so glad he’s gone

Family tradition dictates that the two best teams are the Packers, and whoever is playing against the Bears. But I’m more of a rugby fan, hop on over to c/usmlr if you’re interested.

Call me bitter but I am a former Charger fan who refuses to support Dean Spanos and doesn’t have the heart to pick a new team. Due to proximity I am a casual Seahawks fan but really just love football in general. If the Spanos family ever sells the team I would consider coming back

Rams for me. The SB run was phenomenal. This past season was… a mess. At least it seems as if we’ve recruited well.

If Stafford is fully healthy I can see the Rams making the playoffs.

Speaking of the Rams, what do you think of Tutu Atwell? I stashed him in my dynasty league hoping he’d become the Rams WR2 or 3 by the end of this season.

Honestly while Tutu’s still a size concern, there seem to be some smaller WRs recently. Maybe WR3 if he does well. A breakout WR2 season would be fantastic but there’s still a lot of doubters on that. I’m just trying to take more of a wait-and-see approach on him. I’d simply be pleased at a solid WR3 if we can use him well.

It’s the Green Bay Packers for me. Partially because it’s in the blood, partially because I like the fact that they’re not privately owned.

Definitely not a fan of all the recent Rodgers drama though.

I thought Jordan Love looked good in that one game he played in last season

He does look good. His style fits our offense a lot better than any other 2nd string QB I can remember since Rodgers was behind Favre. I’m really hoping that translates to some success this year. Not thinking playoffs, but a winning season would be stellar. I’d settle for beating the Lions by more than a field goal or Hail Mary though 😂

I could see GB making the playoffs. That NFC North seems wide open. Fields could take the next step and lead Chicago to the division title. The Lions added a lot of young talent and are already a young team on the rise. Green Bay could take the crown as I mentioned if Love is a good quarterback. Minnesota is good but potentially losing Cook, Cousins is another year older, but Jordan Addison paired with Jefferson could be a nasty, unguardable WR duo

I recall reading somewhere that while “not privately owned” the people who own Packers “stock” don’t have any of the same rights as people who old stock in normal companies, e.g. they have no actually equity, the stocks don’t pay a dividend, and they can’t trade their stock with anyone else.

So I guess it’s more of a quirk than anything else.

That’s true. The share itself confers nothing more than a certificate, an invitation to the annual shareholder meeting, and the ability to vote on decisions presented be the board of directors. And the ability to brag to you family in, or from, Wisconsin that you’re part-owner of the Packers.

Broncos! Still hoping to wear the Wilson jersey I bought at the start of last season. Still has the tags on it and has been hanging in the closet in shame.
