Like the title says I just got the iPhone 14 pro after using the iPhone XR for around 5 years… I wasn’t expecting a revolutionary new device or a phone that’s as powerful as a desktop but I was expecting to see significant differences in performance or battery life which I’m not seeing a lot of, I compared the specs of the two phone and I’m sad to say I feel kinda cheated, the two phone feel the same in all the bad ways Did anyone else had this happen to them ?

I switched from 11 to 14 pro, I can see all the differences with the 120 hz being the big one. Better battery, better screen resolution and quality, feel premium, the dynamic island is fun (not revolutionary), the cameras 👌. I genuinely don’t understand how you’re not feeling any differences, let’s say if you had the 13 pro, I’d understand why you feel scammed but from Xr, cmon !
If you feel so cheated, then you should return it. Problem solved.
To be completely honest, there’s barely any difference ever since the X. Incremental upgrades will get you a better camera, but the XR had such a great battery life and remains super snappy, so if you aren’t really a camera guy there won’t be a lot new besides ProMotion and Dynamic Island.
