I’ve recently switched Siri’s language from English to my native language and noticed that German Siri sounds pretty soulless and bored. How do you perceive Siri in your language?

A German iOS user too, to be honest Siri is pretty much useless to me at this point. It’s ridiculous, sometimes even the simplest requests are not understood.

Yeah, it’s a shame how bad Siri is given the existence of ChatGPT, basically useless for everything but setting a timer. I assume Apple already works on integrating LLMs into Siri but wants to smooth the edges first. I predict a significant update coming in 2024.

As an iOS user from Portugal, Siri is useless for me because it speaks brazilian portuguese. It’s very different from my own, and it is so annoying for me that I have it in English for when I need to check the time or setting an alarm.

Damn that’s bad. It’s weird that there is no dedicated version for Portugal and Brazilian Portuguese. Heck, even Switzerland and Austria have their own Siri voice, though both have a lower population than Portugal.
