Hi im trying to come up with a efficient/Optimized implementation of the (AMD) FW13, does somebody happen to know what the most efficient 64gb ddr5 5600mt/s ram kit for the FW13 would be? Any tests?

Plus I need it to be fully compatible with Linux.

I ended up getting the memory kit from framework to ensure compatibility in the early batches and I have 2x32GB and they are CL 46. I have ran into problems in the past with having to tight of timings with large capacity of ram and cpus memory controllers not being able to handle it. I am not really sure what the limits are for the 7840U because for a laptop I just want it to work and didn’t explore those things.

There is minimal difference across brands for RAM power consumptions as they follow JEDEC standards. Increasing RAM capacity very slightly increases power consumption but it’s not noticeable. The best option is just to get the cheapest 5600 mhz kit (unless you want to game as well in that case you might want to look for a CL40 kit).
