I definitely think some really dangerous people should be taken out of society, and I even get pleasure from a horrible person dying. The Nuremberg trials needed to happen, and I woke up ecstatic about Kissinger dying the other day. But when the death penalty is used for anyone but the most vile war criminals and death dealers whose crimes are 100% undeniable, innocent people are bound to die. We’ll never have 100% accurate or fair laws or investigations or trials, which means people will be falsely accused of horrible crimes, or overly punished for something that might not warrant it. I support locking up serial killers and rapists and rich fraudsters for life, but the death penalty should be reserved for at least Nazi leadership levels of horrible, because no number of dead murderers is gonna make up for an innocent person being executed

Same honestly. Even life in prison for something that wouldn’t get you tortured by the other inmates sounds like hell, I’m sad that Epstein never got to experience life in prison with what he did (at least however many hours he could make it without getting dogpiled and shiv’d by a dozen people)
