Good game. Game balls to Purdy, the defensive backs, and Eagles OC Brian Johnson for abandoning the slant.

Why it’s called the city of brotherly love, I will never understand. That game was filled with hate before it even kicked off.

Can’t wait to watch part 2 in January.

Well done, 49ers. You came to Philly and gave us a beat down. You were better than us in every facet of the game today.

I hope we see each other again one more time this season. Until then, enjoy the win.

The best comment I saw on an IG post of a sad eagles fan was a bears fan: “eagles fans after 45 minutes of bad football”

I’m furious the Eagles lost and looked lifeless for 3 quarters, BUT I find it absolutely hilarious that Niner fans are acting like this was their Super Bowl. You had a stretch of losing to the Browns, Vikings and Bengals when you wanted Purdy benched. Enjoy peaking in the regular reason. Shanahan has a stellar playoff record.

While the #1 seed is absolutely desired for the Bye, the NFC playoffs are going to be rough this year. SF with a healthy Purdy routinely hang up 30+ pts, even on elite defenses, while the defense is still stacked. The Eagles have a great DL, and an automatic play in short yardage situations. The Cowboys are also pretty stacked from a roster standpoint, and only really held back by their QB enjoying critical TDs or Coach not helping him enough. None of that includes a budding Detroit team that also has a very strong offense, and could certainly knock off one of the above teams.
