If u would’ve told me six months ago that we’d have a 7-5 record and have a record better than the bills, jets and chargers this year at this point and Richardson isn’t even playing I ’d say u were crazy. We have one less win than the chiefs rn and I honestly can’t believe it. We could not win another game this season and I’d be pretty happy with the way it went. I’m excited for the future of this team y’all. It feels like the first real glimmer of hope since rivers after the luck era. JT and AR coming back are gonna elevate this team to a new level. I’m excited to be a colts fan y’all. Now if only irsay can find a way to get MHJ I’d be so happy lol. But I’ve gotta say I’m pleasantly surprised rn because I expected us to go like 8-9 at best before the season started
I agree with all of this, but let’s PLEASE remember that this has all happened largely without our rookies (sans Downs) , so we’re basically rolling with the same squad as last year. That’s all Shane MF Steichen, baby.
I love the vibe of this team right now. But we could be easily 5-7 with a harder schedule. We dodged the 9ers, Eagles, Bills, Dolphins, Chiefs, Cowboys, Lions …
The colts were 4-12-1 last season. There’s a chance that the colts win 10+ games this year. Shane for coach of the year! I finally feel like the future is bright for the colts.
100% agree. The only thing I’d add is my only anxiety right now is hoping AR makes a full recovery. After hearing Alex Smith’s account from his similar injury, he had to learn how to throw a different way after his surgery. Although some of his best years where after the surgery so there’s still hope 😬
I’m not saying this as a doomer, I just think it’s kinda funny so I’ll throw it out there. We are all on the same page that our record is much better than our roster.
The only 2 teams we have beaten that are above .500 were week 2 and week 3, Texans and Ravens. Our schedule is hilariously easy, especially with the injuries to some of the teams we have coming up
Yes but the other side of that is the Colts have been in every game because they are well coached and play hard. I do think their results are better than the sum of their parts (talent) but all those young corners and safeties are going to get better with this competition. Should they get to the playoffs it’s going to be a good experience but even if they don’t the young players will benefit from playing in meaningful games.
The Colts draft class has had an excellent year. Gay was also worth the money.
I think we’re all pleasantly surprised. Personally, I thought the team would win 8 games if everything went right. That was the absolute best case scenario with 5-6 wins being much more realistic.
I just wish we had Richardson. Minshew sucks.

Yeah I repeatedly said that we probably win 5 games but I wanted us to show some fight
Instead we’ve shown fight and we’re in a playoff spot with Richardson being out for the season. I wouldn’t have thought that possible back in August
This season is a win no matter how we end it at this point but I hope we keep winning
Remember all the talk by the media around here that this was one of the worst rosters since the 2012 Luck rookie year and maybe even worse.
