I wonder how well this’ll actually work in practice. Not feeling any physical response will probably make it harder to be efficient with the keyboard, and this will rely very heavily on your hands being correctly mapped constantly.

Hopefully you’ll also be able to ‘place’ the spatial keyboard on a surface, and that way still kinda getting physical feedback
It’s the exact opposite of a clacky mechanical keyboard. A complete absence of clack.

I can’t wait to whip out a bluetooth-capable mechanical keyboard with MX Blue switches on an airplane, plop that chonk down on the the tray table, and clickity-clack for the entirety of the flight from the East Coast to the EU.
I feel like the floating keyboard will be analogous to the on-screen keyboard on game consoles – it works for the occasional couple of words or sentences, but for any sort of extensive use, you’re gonna want a hardware keyboard.
And honestly, that’s okay. It’s good that they’re open about the hand fatigue and admitting that this isn’t the solution to all-day typing.
