An interesting thing to me is the difference between this and intuition, which might come across as the same thing to some.

Intuition is something I have come to realize is more important than I thought in real life. It’s mostly experience based on experience based on experience, by which you can quickly assess a familiar situation without having a direct detailed reasoning per se, but it’s also kind of a gut feeling. But boy if I ain’t right in my field of expertise purely based on that gut 95% of the time.

The difference is though, intuition is something you should be able to somewhat logically explain and reason about if you take the time. Still, even that is harder than I would like to admit.

100% agree. Intuition is based on reasoning, it’s just fast because experience creates the “gut” feeling before your conscious is able to form the words. At least that’s what it feels like for me.

But there a tons of times I’m passionate about something and am proved wrong. Being open to that certainly helps ;)
