This isn’t just people standing up for themselves. This is governments protecting people.

No I didn’t. I’m praising governments willing to stand of for their people. I’m responding to someone else that said the government works for the people and I said that’s not how the US works. Governments don’t always work for the people, sometimes they bend the knee for corporations.

I wanted to say that governmemts in Sweden and Denmark are made of people too. But yeah, I agree with you then.

Elon musk behaves like a narcissist, so he could threaten to withdraw Tesla from all 4 Nordic countries, just because he is butthurt.
If that should happen, I’m personally OK with that too. We don’t want foreign companies that threaten our right to unionize.

There are plenty of other EV options now too so no need for Tesla if they don’t want to be fair to their workers.

There’s no reason yet to leave all 4. All they need to do is leave Sweden and this ends.

I’m not sure what the situation is like in the other countries in terms of CBAs, but they haven’t gone on strike internally for lack of agreement. It’s only sympathy strikes elsewhere right now.

The Norwegian union Fagforeningen has stated that if the Swedish Union did not get to av strekene before the 20th, they’ll go into sympathy strike! Here we fucking go!!! Do not fuck with Scandinavians or their labour market - they’ll double fuck you right back!

Very important that Norway gets in on this as well since they were very early and massive adopters of Tesla cars. That one will really chap Elon’s ass.

I may not live in Sweden or Denmark, but I am happy people improving their and each other’s lives instead of screwing over each other. Faust bless you.

I’d love to see it the Americans follow up once Tesla has unionised in Europe.

I’d also love to see what Tesla would’ve done without a stubborn idiot as CEO. Maybe it’s time for the shareholders to take another look at the supermajority voting that Musk is abusing to run the company down.
