Jaywalking is so weird to me as a Brit. Sometimes it can be a little dangerous to cross the road, but it’s not unusual to do in cities and towns. There are zebra crossings and such, but they aren’t mandatory (although it’s always best to use them). The only roads you can’t walk on are high-speed roads like motorways, which shouldn’t be a shock. If a driver kills someone walking on the road, they’re probably at fault.
“Jaywalking” was invented by automakers to shift blame away from negligent drivers. Fuck zebra crossings and lights; streets are supposed to be for people!
If you’d want to eat people like this poor woman, you really are a monster and deserve to get eaten yourself!

I have to disappoint you, there are people sitting in those evil evil cars. Streets are for people even if they are used by cars.
