!zillowgonewild@midwest.social

Celebrating stupid, rad, and fucked up house listings on Lemmy since… yesterday. Despite the name, it’s not porn. Sorry.

There’s definitely a learning curve, but luckily it doesn’t seem like a terribly steep one!

I have an account on sopuli.xyz, too! It was my first instance here before my midwest.social application got approved. I just popped in to make sure anything I suggest actually works since I’m also new around here 🙃 Are you using Jerboa or the website?

If you’re on the website itself, just make sure you include the exclamation point and extension when you search. Copy/paste the whole thing: !zillowgonewild@midwest.social. It’ll pop up as a community with zero subscribers because you’re the first sopuli person to come looking for it, I think.

If you’re on Jerboa, look at the bottom of your screen. There are five tappable icons. The one that looks like a bulleted list is your communities list. Tap it, and you’ll be directed to the list of all the communities you’re presently subbed to. At the tippy top is a search bar. Type in simply “zillowgonewild.” Don’t include the exclamation point or the extension. You’ll be presented with a link to the community.

I just tried both methods using my sopuli account, and they both worked. See you over there!
