Call me basic, but mine’s The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
My dad was a sure-enough rodeo cowboy, so I grew up on westerns. I probably saw GBU 10 times before watching it stoned as a teenager–the way god intended. That’s the genesis of my love for the weird west genre, I think.
Morricone getting not even a nomination for GBU is I think a strong contender for the worst and most damning Oscar snub of all time.
