    Let’s be honest if someone reduces a person to their disability they are not going to get dates from people with said disability.

    Being blind is also not a binary thing. Often legally blind can have many variants where their vision might be intensely poor but they still have vision to a degree.

      Also a lot of legally blind people use the internet both privately and professionally and are independent people who don’t rely on their partners for everything.

        It says here it’s more of a hassle than actually impossible. Which yeah, probably, considering how little care people take towards accessibility

      It has been fascinating to watch chasing gradually become a faux pas. A decade ago, I’d have guessed that it would take another 50 years.

      I’m in a long distance relationship, recently my girlfriend suggested we read books together by one of us reading to the other one over the phone - usually me, but occasionally the other way around. It’s turned into quite a precious bedtime story routine. Sometimes I also read to her while she’s cooking or doing other chores.
