now you can tell Reddit to get fucked, democratically

I have a feeling this may backfire. I really want to join this subreddit. Is there a Fediverse version?
Could end up on Last Week Tonight, which would be interesting.
I feel so conflicted. On the one hand, going back to reddit feels dirty. On the other hand, who doesn’t like some sexy John Oliver pics?
sexy John Oliver pics
Redundancy is redundant
Lemmy needs to come together as a community and supply some sexy John Oliver pics!
How about every sub follow the same?
this is the way
Looks like r/gifs is following as well
Require all posts in r/gaming to include a John Oliver facecam?
malicious compliance <3
Absolutely, take my vote.
Beautiful
The creative ways found by the communities to tell spez to fuck off is one of the few good things that has come from this disaster
There‘s clearly only one way forward for r/pics!
Great way to maliciously comply, and perhaps a great way to get John Oliver to talk about the Reddit dumpster fire on his show
Didn’t he talk about reddit before?
It would actually be great if news of this poll reached him. There’s no way he wouldn’t pick it up (at least for a side joke on another news piece).
I don’t recall any episodes explicitly about reddit. I do know that he has cited reddit posts in many segments as sources or as jokes (example).

Guess what website is going to be featured on Last Week Tonight for some reason.
Maybe when the writer’s strike is over.
Sorting by top normal is listed first. Don’t know if it works with votes hidden tho
It’s a special mode called contest mode. Your sorting preference means nothing, the comment order is randomized every time you refresh. Here is a larger thread in contest mode so you can refresh a few times and see the randomization more clearly.
I mean if he really wants to he’ll just edit the number of votes like the cock goblin he’s proven himself to be
Strange, for me it listed John Oliver first. I wonder if things are neck and neck
The thread is in contest mode, so the comments are loaded randomly upon opening the thread. Only the moderators know what the scores are, the sort has no meaning for us for now.
I sorted by top in Apollo a few times and it seems random
This is the first time I’ve logged into reddit in a week or so. It’s a trap?
Reddit can just manipulate the vote so easily. But it’s a funny statement. Wondering how it ends. Thanks for posting this here!
Spoiler: John Oliver won.
Just saw it. Amazing!
