Lemmy’s algorithm seems to mostly show highly upvoted memes from two or three days ago, without any new comments in the past 24 hours. For example, I did not see c/Suomi’s weekend thread despite it being newer and having like 40 comments. Is this normal or have I botched my settings?
Hot and active on my subscribed timeline give these results. Tbh just randomly tried most of the possible settings and didn’t find that thread.
Switch to sorting by New
Then I drown in programmingmemes lol
EDIT: seems to be 196 memes today. Either way, this highly favors post from the larger communities.
