Saw a couple of neat looking communities over on lemmy.world shared in newcommunities. I don’t think they’re federated yet. I thought if I followed the !communityname@instance link that would trigger federation of that community, but that doesn’t seem to be happening (just getting 404). Am I missing something?
nope I was also clueless until someone told me. there’s pretty much no guides/documentation for kbin. maybe we could make a /m/kbinguide or something? to help onboard people. since a lot of this stuff is a little confusing at first.
