Recently I took a mandatory active shooter training here in FL. Generally, the training was well put together. The instructors included active police officers. They said, if someone is suspicious (has a big coat, concealing something, etc) to call 911.

They also mentioned that the new constitutional carry law eliminates the need for a special license for concealed carry. Also all the place I work the public are allowed to open carry guns.

So I’m supposed to keep an eye out for suspicious activity, but anyone can walk in with a 1911 stuck in thier pants, or a AR-15 slung over thier shoulder.

      Fun.

My wife and I were walking past Grace and Meat +3 a few weeks ago when I noticed the dude (more like kid) walking in front of us had a pistol tucked under his armpit, with the barrel pointing behind him right at my wife’s chest. I grabbed her and held her back until he made his way down the street. I considered calling the cops but then figured that they’d just tell me he’s not breaking the law because we allow open carry without any permits.
